“Christmas Classics, in a one-of-a-kind performance for the whole family!”
For over 15 years, Act of Congress has brought their genre-defying acoustic sound to audiences worldwide, blending mandolin, bass, violin, guitar, and breathtaking harmonies. With vocals that weave effortlessly between rich, soulful tones and dynamic energy, Act of Congress creates an experience that connects deeply with audiences.

About
“It’s hard for us to record anything truly authentic without including the language of faith,” says violinist and vocalist Connie Skellie. “These songs are the soundtrack of our lives.” Mandolinist and lead vocalist Adam Wright echoes, “The older I get, the less I’m interested in putting on pretenses. I want people to see authenticity, to feel served, and to find the joy we feel in this music.”
While their roots
are in Alabama, Act of Congress has reached global audiences as U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassadors, completing five international tours in countries like Thailand, Oman, and Liberia.
Their harmonies
and musicianship have been featured by Showtime, Google, and National Public Television, and they’ve collaborated with symphonies to create unforgettable performances. Locally, they’ve been honored as a “Must See Live Act of Alabama” and featured in Alabama’s Keep Alabama Beautiful campaign
